Pixel Journal: What’s the first thing you do every morning?

Rebecca Kenney: Check my phone, which is probably not a good thing, whoops.

PJ: What’s one thing on your bucket list?

RK: Go to Salar de Uyuni (in Bolivia) at night, after it rains.

PJ: Coke or Pepsi?

RK: Water

PJ: What did you want to be when you were a kid?

RK:Crepes. Hands down it’s crepes.

PJ: If you could have coffee with any person, living or dead, who would it be?

PJ: Beyoncé or Rihanna?

RK: Rihanna, but its super close. It’s a tie.

PJ: Kittens or Puppies?

RK: Puppies for sure.

PJ: What’s one thing no one knows about you?

RK: Where’s the mystery in that…haha

PJ: What’s one book you would recommend?

RK: Hmm, probably Animal Farm because it’s so thought provoking and also short enough to fit an OHSer’s schedule.

PJ: What’s the best song on your playlist right now?

RK: "On + Off" by Maggie Rogers or "Location" by Khalid

PJ: Do you have a favorite movie?

RK: Whiplash or Good Will Hunting

PJ: Who’s your favorite OHS teacher?

RK: All of them, that’s like choosing a favorite child!

PJ: What’s your favorite emoji?
RK: The rowboat, its pretty versatile.

PJ: What’s your biggest dream?

RK: I would love to work with a business or charity that allowed me to travel and help people while learning a new language.

PJ: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

RK: Access to education for everyone.

PJ: What’s your favorite OHS class?

RK: Intro to physics back in 7th grade, but I’m loving APLit right now.

PJ: Graduation Weekend or Summer @ Stanford?

RK: Hmm I loved both, maybe S@S because it’s longer. (Shameless S@S/grad plug — everyone go!)

PJ: What do you want to do after high school?

RK: College, but first maybe take a gap year to travel and volunteer.

PJ: Finally, what’s one piece of advice for OHSers?

RK: Don't stress! No seriously, always make time to focus on your wellbeing, take frequent short breaks, and be spontaneous. Burnout is real guys.
