Pixel Journal: What’s the first thing you do every morning?

Luke Kwong: I jam out to my favorite song (which is set as my alarm).

 

PJ: What’s one thing on your bucket list?

LK: Visit all 50 United States of America and see Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons

 

PJ: Coke or Pepsi?

LK: Neither, I hate dark sodas. 

 

PJ: What’s did you want to be when you were a kid?

LK: I don’t remember; probably a singer or pastor. 

 

PJ: What could you eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

LK: If I had to eat one thing all day, it would definitely be sushi. 

 

PJ: If you could have coffee with any person, living or dead, who would it be?

LK: I’d just take the coffee. Just kidding, I would love to have coffee with Eric Littell or Louis Zamporini.

 

PJ: Beyoncé or Rihanna?

LK: Give me four or five seconds to answer this one, I have to work this out. If you didn’t get the hint, it’s Rihanna and you know it. 

 

PJ: Kittens or Puppies?

LK: Puppies…have you ever seen them walk around? So dorky and adorable. 

 

PJ: What’s one thing no one knows about you?

LK: I honestly have no idea. 

 

PJ: What’s one book you would recommend? 

LK: Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. 

 

PJ: What’s the best song on your playlist right now?

LK: Oceans Away by A R I Z O N A or I Wish by Stevie Wonder

 

PJ: Do you have a favorite movie?

LK: McFarland USA 

 

PJ: Who’s your favorite OHS teacher?

LK: Dr. Smith

 

PJ: What’s your favorite emoji?

LK: The thinking man emoji face (I don’t get to use him as much as I want to) 

 

PJ: What’s your biggest dream?

LK: To start my own business or my own band 

 

PJ: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

LK: I wish that we could redeem time 

 

PJ: What’s your favorite OHS class?

LK: It has to be Democracy, Freedom, and the Rule of Law or Calculus 

 

PJ: Graduation Weekend or Summer @ Stanford?

LK: I’m partial to graduation weekend only because I think the bittersweetness adds to its greatness. 

 

PJ: What do you want to do after high school?

LK: Go to college, but like right after high school when I graduate, I’d love to work and to spend time running more. 

 

PJ: What’s one piece of advice for OHSers?

LK: Join Student Government as an unelected member or elected member. It’s the real deal. More practically, go to the Writing Resource Center…they do magic with your essays.
